Tableau or Tableaux is a commonly seem drama technique, it uses still motion and dramatic body position and facial movement to connect to different scene in a play or specific line from a play.
Tableau and Language can go hand in hand, ask a group of students to pose for a line in the reading or simply let a group of students to act out a part of a chapter book and say freeze when they are moving, then you are using Tableau in your teaching.
Ask your student on why would he/she pose his/her body in a certain way. See, using drama when teaching Language is not that hard.
